Atletico ended their league campaign with an emphatic win at Littleton's Five Acres ground,
with Mike Harvey amongst the goal scorers, scoring his first for the club.
In a game that was bathed in sunshine then drenched in a downpour, the first and second
half were equally as different. AFC were always in control, but cruised in second gear
for most of the first half. Sean Williams latched onto an Alex Penny through ball in the
5th minute and slotted home to give AFC an early lead, but never really threatened to add
to that early goal for the rest of the half.
Though the team came out second half and stepped up a gear, 10 minutes into the half and
Mike Harvey scored his first goal for the club guiding his header past Hayden Whitcombe in
the Littleton goal. A defencive mix up allowed Will Gayton to easily score for Littleton,
then just after the hour a superb curling shot from Isaac Cooper was out of the reach of
Whitcombe and into goal off the post restoring the two goal advantage. With 10 minutes
remaining Penny added a fourth with a clever flick off the outside of his foot after a cross
from Seal, which wrong footed Whitcombe to the delight of the away support. Right on time
Cooper added the gloss to the win following an inch perfect cross from Javia Roberts and
scoring with a back heel.
