Hinckley AFC 4 - 2 Aylestone Park
Atletico marched into the Semi Finals of the Leicestershire Cup beating Aylestone Park, with goals from Luke Richards, Michael Healy, Matt Gardner and Marco Adaggio.

Even though Hinckley started with a strong attacking line up it was Aylestone that took a surprise lead after only 9 minutes. Ryan Calver had a speculative shot from the edge of the area, but was helped massively by a bobble just in front of Jack Hartopp, making his debut in the Hinckley goal, and the ball evaded his outstretched hand and into the back of the net. Hinckley took half an hour to get a grip of the game, however once they did, they were pretty much in control. On 35 minutes Luke Richards came in from the left hand side, turned his marker Josh Bone and fired past Oscar Webb. Michael Healy then had a great chance to give AFC the lead, but didn't connect properly with Isaac Cooper's cross, leaving the scores level at half time.

The second half was all Hinckley, Richards was giving Bone the run around on the left, and 10 minutes in Richards again powerfully eased past his marker cut inside and played a one-two with Healy, then stepped over the ball, allowing Healy to deftly curl the ball into the top corner from 15 yards out. Nathan Walker caught the Aylestone defence flat and played a superb chip over the back line into the path of Matt Gardner who reacted quickest to poke the ball beyond Webb as he raced out of his goal, making it three. Marco Adaggio came on as a sub and almost scored with his first touch, but even though his shot beat Webb, it came back off Gardner who couldn't get out of the way quick enough. However it didn't take Adaggio long to get on the score sheet, as he received the ball on the edge of the area, he took one touch to turn his marker and with the second touch he powered the ball past Webb to score Hinckley's fourth. With the tie well won, Hinckley switched off in the final moments and Jordan Small scored a consolation goal for Aylestone.
