Atletico were again involved in a 3 all draw only days after the Sutton Coldfield result,
though this time were on the receiving end of the 'come back' having taken a 0-3 lead
early in the second half.
Hinckley went ahead early on as the Bromyard defence struggled with the pace of Lewis
Gorle on the wing and his cross was perfect for Tyrone Clark-O'Conell to volley into
goals from 10 yards out. Gorle again provided the cross for the second, beating his
man on the right and chipping up to the back post for Luke Richards to power his header
past the keeper, giving AFC a half time two goal lead. Then within the opening moments
of the second half Clark-O'Connell was played through the middle and passed the ball
around the stranded Bromyard keeper making it 0-3. This signalled a round of substitutions
and seemingly with the game won a drop in concentration from the Hinckley players. Bromyard
forced a number of set pieces and after scoring their first 'consolation' goal began to
get a bit of belief. Their second was also from a set piece and despite a good save from the
'stand in' Hinckley keeper could do nothing about the follow up. Bromyard kept the pressure
on and eventually equalised with the last kick of the game, the final result being 3-3. |
